Review of Age of the Dragons (2011) by Michael W — 27 Mar 2011
A reimaging of the classic Moby Dick in which a black Ahab (Danny Glover, who must've needed money) together with his adopted daughter and Ishmael (Corey Sevier), hunts the great big white dragon, on land, in some sort of boat-shaped vehicle that lacks any obvious means of propulsion.
Oh yeah, Vinnie Jones is a senior crew member as well. Some beautiful shots don't make up for a bad script. Vinnie Jones out-acts Danny Glover yet it's not enough to make this enjoyable in anything but a morbid fascination fashion.
