Review of Adoration (2013) by Simeon M — 26 Jun 2017
This is an unusual film because its storyline is so taboo and yet the movie is very beautiful to the eye. The cinematography and music are probably the best points of this film. The performances of the four main characters are all quite good in their own right.
However, something about this movie just doesn't quite get where it needs to be. Perhaps it is the over-the-top feeling of some of the dialogue or, again, the outrageousness of the plot. If you want a visually attractive film with good music, this is it.
Anything more...meh. Not this one.
