What a difference those notes at the end can make. For a lot of the film I was thinking - assuming - it was a lot of polished up people-pleasing crap. Turns out it was a lot truer than I imagined. I don't doubt some of the details along the way were manipulated for dramatic purposes but ultimately, and given the historical reality, it's an amazing, inspirational story.
