Another film of JC Chandor's that proves why he is one of the top directors working in the business today. With a well thought out script, beautiful cinematography, stunning performances from 2 of my favorite actors, Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, and authentic production and costume design, A Most Violent Year works on every level.
