Review of Zulu (1964) by Josh J — 20 Jul 2009
Zulu is quite honestly one of the most bad-ass films in the history of mankind.
Step aside Rambo,.
Chuck Norris who?
The entire film is simply amazing. For younger audiences it will be slow at first, however it all gets exponentially better as the movie goes on.
And perhaps the most intense scene in cinematic history exists in this film. The final charge by the Zulu at the British line of defense and after a hail of three levels of gunfire the British are shown clutching their guns ready for more while a pile of dead Zulu lie in front of them.
My only response to that scene was 'wow...' and that sums up this entire movie.
