Review of White Squall (1996) by Greg S — 15 Dec 2007
A highly underated coming of age film. Set against the backdrop of a group of young sailors who have to deal with their tempremental sea captain as they set sail on a journey roaming the worlds oceans.
Great writing filled with symbolic heroism. The boat serves as navigational metaphor it is not only shaping the course of their journey but their lives too. A superb final scene, one to be remembererd for a long time.
