Some say that Buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion; this fascinating film proves the contrary by showing some seriously fucked behavior only attributable to religious fervor/dementia... Lots of beauty and awe-inspiring images as well in this very conventional (by Herzog's standards) movie.
