The mood is "disturbing.".
I thought this to be an outstanding film.
A story of, as much as I could tell, a decent person caught up in a dreadful situation. Her only true friend --- a dog!
I think this is a story that needed to be told, and told more than once. It reminds us of a world most of us have not, and will never, experience.
Wendy's a survivor, but it's not easy.
It's a story that will stay with me a long time, and make me evaluate how is see people "on the street" and what I can offer them to help them live a decent life.
