Review of Vigilante (1983) by Patrick D — 15 Jul 2007
Fred Williamson & crew fight back against the scum of the city. Williamson is cold as ass & hard as a rock in those skin tight jeans. Robert Forster was really great in this movie. I wish that he would've racked up more kills.
The little kid getting shot made my jaw drop. It didn't show it directly but just the way it was done....wow. The synth soundtrack is a great listen...especially in the scene where Williamson is chasing some dope dealer on the outside of an abandoned building.
If you love Lustig, and I do, you'll love this gritty, sleazy, brutal film. Oh & I hate that it has Steve James in it...and all he does is get killed. Boooo! Buuuurrrrrooooooooooowwaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwooowwwwwooar!
