Milos Forman brought us Amadeus and Cuckoo's Nest but his version of this classic tale unfortunately falls short of Stephen Frears' Dangerous Liasons. It is the cast, however, that lacks the power ; Firth especially just doesn't cut it.
Still you can't beat the source material.
