Review of Unknown Pleasures (2002) by Ben H — 22 Apr 2008
Yeah the movie felt real. But minimalism is hard to call sustaining entertainment for 2 hours. If I wanted to watch 20-somethings angst over how hopeless their lives were, I'd just spend the afternoon on campus.
The more the world connects with itself, the more disconnected its occupants become. Yeah I've seen that message before and it's been done in a more convincing way. I'm sorry, but I didn't like this "great" film.
