Review of Uncertainty (2009) by Emily H — 22 Jul 2010
Sometimes movies are simply fun puzzles. We enjoy them for way they were cleverly edited together and because of the energy in each shot and situation. Broseph Gordon Levitt and his girl Lynn Collins race through Manhattan in Yellow (a phone they find is being sought after by dangerous and mysterious entities) and face the big questions about family and love at a reunion in Brooklyn in their Green side of the story.
That's the set-up and that's what you get. Lean and breezy, a neat conceptual thriller that weaves in and out of different zones and into beautiful New York with pure electricity.
