Review of Two Weeks with Love (1950) by Jack A — 07 Nov 2006
This film - reportedly Jane Powell's favorite of all her movies - is hard to find but oh, so worth it. When a quaint Victorian family takes a vacation in turn-of-the-century Catskills, their teenage daughters are all too eager to grow up and find some beaux.
Powell and a sparkly young Debbie Reynolds are hilarious in this charming period romantic comedy (and Ricardo Montalban ain't bad, either)!
