Review of Troma's War (1988) by Private U — 05 Aug 2007
One of the best war movies ever. Where the bullets never run out of ammo, fat guys can be action heroes, and dealing seriously with the subject of AIDS involves having a blond bimbo being raped by a terrorist with AIDS.
It's rude, vulgar, offensive, and low budget but it has it's charm, and I think they hid some social commentary in there... But if that don't grab you, it does have more bullet hits than Sam Peckinpaw's "Wild Bunch"!
