Review of Trigger (2010) by Corey B — 05 Feb 2011
Tonight was the night that Smallville returned on TV. I have watched the show for 10 years, and I am a fan for 10 yearrs. But I had to ditch Smallville tonight so that I could catch this film at the festival.
Was it worth it? Abso-bloody-lutely. Clark Kent can wait for another couple of weeks, but Tracy Wright and Molly Parker wouldn't. I am not just saying this, because I had a chance to talk with the director, Bruce McDonald, but this film remided me of the reason why I am here.
For years, I've said that I want to make films for a living, but I kind of lost the reason since I came back to Canada. Tonight, he reminded me that I want to be like him, create whatever I desire, and working with people I love.
I am a filmmaker, and I will shoot films.
