Review of Tower (2016) by Nick U — 15 Feb 2017
2/15/17 PBS Independent Lens.
A unique mix of animation, actual footage and modern day interviews with victims, police and citizens. At first the animation was a little disconcerting but as the film progressed it was as moving as actual footage. Mr. Maitland has made an important movie and is worth tracking down to watch. Terror, confusion, bravery and courage and interestingly enough forgiveness are all presented in a smart and creative way.
