Horrifying and convincing portrayal of a severely unhinged individual who splits his time between impulsively beating pensioners to death for their belongings, enjoying horribly explicit and unsuccessful sexual philandering and impersonating Tony Manero - of Saturday Night Fever fame.
It may offer few explanations, but this superbly shot and wonderfully directed journey into the mind of an intriguing and terrifying psychopath is an atmospheric, addictive and memorable viewing experience. Not one to be missed.
