Review of Tokyo Sonata (2008) by Thomas C — 05 Apr 2009
This is a remarkable movie which perfectly captures the way we modern types are caught up in systems which have no interest in us and would really prefer that we just bow out. It's hard to dislike any of the characters in this movie and you get a sense that Kurosawa really cares for them.
