Review of The Young and the Damned (1950) by Ike S — 08 Jul 2007
By far the BEST film I saw at 2005 Cannes film festival (as retrospective tribute). Bunuel's strongest film is a very gritty view of life in the slums of Mexico City. Fortunately, he rejected the "happy ending" in favor of a much bleaker and haunting finale.
