Review of The Young and the Damned (1950) by Jim E — 28 Oct 2010
Much less heavy-handed with its ideology than the opening of the film might lead you to believe. It's impossible not to care as you watch the movie, unless you are not a person. While the story is fully coherent, there is something frantic and phantasmagorical about it.
And it is top-notch as both entertainment and art.
