Review of The Trotsky (2010) by Jessica T — 28 Dec 2010
Are today's youth apathetic or bored? Leon thinks they can be awakened from their high school induced stupor and sets out on a mission to do so. Jay Baruchel is brilliant as a charming reincarnation of Leon Trotsky who uses charm, wit, and an impeccable knowledge of revolutionary history to stir his fellow youth to rise up and take control of their lives.
Inspiring, funny, and a breath of fresh air in a time when too many adults have lost hope in the possibility of a better future and project their own apathy and complacency onto kids.
