Ah, the fear of the devil craze of the 70's! This movie predates even the Exorcist. And you can tell that making movies about Satan wasn't an exact science.
Characters in this movie seem to enjoy pausing for about 30 seconds between lines.
It has some unintentionally hilarious moments as well.
Best to check out the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of this, that way you won't fall asleep between the pauses in dialog.
