Review of The Times of Harvey Milk (1984) by Jeff B — 12 Oct 2007
This documentary is pretty incredible. It flew by and I was captivated the whole way through. For such a tragic story, the film did a great job of including humor and inspiration to it. The scene with the redhead woman talking about right after he died was extremely powerful, I could barely make it though that scene.
I'm afraid that not enough young people know who Harvey Milk was, so more people need to see this film. Hopefully the upcoming film biopics do justice to his story.
