Review of The Sun Also Rises (2007) by Pavandeep S — 23 Sep 2007
A really fascinating film, quirky and yet very intriguing. A lot of the stories are genuinely just tales of love, very different types of love, husband and wife, a mother and child and another different husband and wife, one of them is both wife and mother and we see basically a criss-cross series of events, where a women finds another and then something happens in another.
It was very startling after a while and you sort of realize a lot as the non-linear story just goes forward, with the shot being a powerful element in narrative and character development.
