Review of The Squad (2011) by Sergio R — 14 Jul 2012
Begins with promising suspense and a original sense of horror, but later it let down into political commentary and the incompetence from the director to create chills without physical sounds, but El Paramo is barely enterteining if diverted of what could be, and explores the dementia of war with a (practically non-existent) supernatural setting.
Sometimes creepy and visceral and other confusing and boring.
