Review of The Screaming Skull (1958) by Heather L — 19 Jun 2008
As they give a warning regarding the movie at the beginning they say, "It may kill you" and assure free burials for anyone who dies of 'fright' during the movie.
And of course, it is not that scary. But it is really psychologically frightening and it is also sometimes really funny. The idea of the hysterical, crazy woman as not being so hysterical and crazy after all is not particularly fresh, but I think that from a plot point of view, it actually is pretty cool that she was vindicated at the end of all this.
