Review of The Screaming Skull (1958) by Senor C — 05 Sep 2011
Im almost sad that I didn't die of fright while watching The Screaming Skull. That way my burial would have been taken care of..I hope that's still in effect because I could have gone a number of ways throughout this movie.
One of those it so bad it's sorta good films. Thank god it's short. The slow witted gimpy groundskeeper has been compared to Torgo in Manos Hands of Fate & Ive been thinking about that Harold P Warren was so influenced by this movie for the number of times that it was broadcast on tv ripped it off & put Mickey the gardener in Manos.
Why else would Tarantino own a 35mm print of Manos?..is there something more going on w/ Manos then I originally saw?..twice! For the love of Christ I won't sit through that movie again.
