The first half of 'The Man Who Sued God' was at times laugh-out-loud funny, with Connolly thoroughly entertaining. Despite the beautifully constructed premise, it all fell away a little in the second half as love story and bizarre 'Acts of God' overtook the more interesting philosophical and theological arguments presented comically in the first half.
