Review of The Holy Girl (2004) by R.a. L — 05 Jun 2009
One of the best films i've seen in the last few years. a clear directorial style and vision, with fine acting and a really great use of sound. it is so subtle and whimsical, and the camera so unobtrusive, that it may need a few viewings to appreciate the treasures of this little gem.
Lucrecia Martel shows herself to be one of the leading lights of the Argentine new cinema.
