Review of The Heart of the World (2000) by Tristan D — 06 Nov 2009
Maddin does more in 6 minutes than most filmmakers do in 2 hours. Filmed in the Soviet Montage style (with a good dose of German expressionism thrown in for good measure) this love triangle about the end of the world will blow you away before you even know you've been blown away.
Best Canadian film ever!
