Improvisational comedies are hit and miss, but I think this one is good enough, especially for poker fans, or poker haters to check out. While its no "Best In Show", The Grand is impressive in that it actually knows a lot about the topic it is undermining - no limit Texas hold 'em.
Everyone in the cast, from the actors to the professional players, is actually involved in poker, and that really lends to its authenticity, even though its all, ultimately, a big gag on high stakes televised gaming.
