Review of The Edge of Love (2008) by Kendall B — 15 Nov 2009
The cinematography of this movie is absolutely beautiful. A wonderful period piece with a nice portrayal of the underground nightlife of a bomb-plagued England. The movie was cast perfectly and both women gave stellar performances.
Cillian Murphy's character couldve used a little more development however we do get to understand the love triangle very well. I really loved this movie and even though the action was minimal, the plot really moved the movie along and it was a great portrayal of the life of a relationship/marriage.
It was very well done and again just a stunningly beautiful movie. I'm very surprised that I had never heard of this movie, even being a big Keira Knightly fan and I'm thankful that Netflix recommended this for me!
