Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by Shannon H — 30 Dec 2007
Extremely well-done psychological drama tells the stories of a bunch of different people who have connections to a girl who was recently found slain. Some of the best ensemble acting I've ever seen, a brutally honest and heart-wretching script, with flawless direction and style.
Sure, it's disturbing and admittedly rather depressing, but considering the situations of each character, it would have been quite perverted to have an air of happiness in this film.
