Review of The Day the Earth Stopped (2008) by Judy P — 02 Jan 2009

I saw this in IMAX but should have saved the $13 to get it via Netflix. Parts of this movie were like watching an old B-movie (especially the military scenes) and the big alien robot thing reminded me of an Oscar wearing Geordi eyewear - which I'm pretty sure this film won't receive.

I couldn't stand the Jaden Smith character and Keanu Reeves was his usual self (is he acting or is that the real Keanu?).
