Review of The Cameraman (1928) by Allan F — 24 Jan 2009
Recently watched this again on TCM. This movie lays out the template for romantic comedies that is still being followed today. Keaton's antics are impressive even by today's standards. The action sequence toward the end is particularly interesting, and Keaton knew it never hurt to have a monkey in a movie.
A classic by every standard.
