Review of The Cameraman (1928) by Charles R — 04 Jul 2013
What starts as a sophomoric exercise in watching people get wacked endlessly, senselessly, monotonously in the face (by Keaton's co-star, a chintzy camera) turns out to be a beautifully brisk romp around 1920's NYC through the inimitable eyes of Keaton and Sedgwick.
4/5 Doesn't require Keaton's more high-flying physical stuntmanship, but still gives the Stone Faced One a bevy of hilarious comic scenes and gags.
