Review of Summer Palace (2006) by Lubaina K — 20 Jun 2008

It was a very intense movie about love, lust and confusion that exists in all of us. It has excellent performances from all the actors, especially Yu Hong. At times it does seem like that it is just too graphical, but if one can push aside the physicality and take into consideration the emotional turmoil of the people involved, that too will make sense.

Not a fun movie, so make sure the mood is right to sit down and watch this one!
