Better than the original Star Trek series, and this is coming from a fan of the the original Star Trek TV series. Kirk and Spock are executed so well, and their relationship in this movie was incredible.
Everyone else plays their parts well. One gripe I have is that Nero wasn't really a strong villain for this movie and they could've made him better. My other gripe is that I wish they had a little bit more fan service, like Into Darkness.
But other than that, this movie has no downs! The special effects are incredible, and this movie was shot so well.
