Review of Star 80 (1983) by Ashley T — 28 Jul 2008
This movie really made me sick, to the point that I felt like puking afterwards. It's a tragedy on every level and really highlighted what creepy scumbags Hugh Hefner and Peter Bogdonovich are.
I'd also like to add, I never thought I could sympathize, much less relate with, a necrophiliac murderer. It's a real testament to Eric Roberts that he gave the Paul Snider character a human side.
Dorothy was so sweet and naive it just makes you want to cry seeing all of these assholes taking advantage of her.
Bad date movie, btw.
