A poignant last film for the late Bernie Mac with appearances from the late great Isaac Hayes. Funny as hell road movie about two backing singers who never quite made it originally past one album. I laughed my head off through a lot of this film.
Warning there's a lot of mammajamma words in this so you might want to watch it without the kids! Samuel L J is on form as usual and what makes this really nice is that both Bernie and Samuel sing and it's believable baby.
Great picture full of Soul.
