Review of Slow West (2015) by Joel A — 29 May 2015
In a time when every movie is CGI-filled and explosion-ridden, Slow West is a nice reprieve for people who love a good old Western tale. Between this and All is Wilderness, you can really tell that Kodi Smit-McPhee has a bright future ahead of him.
The others (Fassbender, Mendelsohn, etc.) are all great and the story really pays off, leading to a stunning climax that is truly hard to see coming.
