Review of Sketches of Frank Gehry (2006) by Jonathan H — 07 Apr 2008
I really liked this. The director Sydney Pollack (who's on camera a lot) kind of stumbles awkwardly around in this great architect's brain, asking what on the surface are dumb questions. But the relationship between them seems to bring out the best in Gehry, and he makes some revealing comments about his art and life.
Inspiring stuff.
