Review of Sherlock Jr. (1924) by Dustin R — 15 Dec 2007
With its perfectly constructed gags, wildly imaginative set-pieces and a profound exploration of the boundaries of cinema itself, Keaton's 'other masterpiece' is a work of unlimited genius.
I recommend watching the Kino Video version; it includes a wonderfully post-modern soundtrack which is more than appropriate for a film that was way ahead of its time.
