Holy shit I have to say it was a work of art. After I saw the reviews I was obviously a little skeptical, but I loved Gnomeo and Juliet so much that I had to see this. Not only was it an original plot, but the voice actors were amazing.
Emily Blunt sold Juliet emotions and when *spoiler alert* she died I actually cried with most people in my theater. Problem is this movie is not kid friendly even though it says so. The witty humor was too much for me to handle at some points and the sexual tension was too much between Juliet and Sherlock Gnomes.
Girl you married! I'm 85% Johnny Depp is nominated for the 2019 Oscars as best actor in a supporting role. Also, Mankini's comic relief balanced out the movies dark making it a piece of artwork.
10/10 should be taught in Film School.
