This is a very touching film. I find a lot of people don't appreciate a film that has a dark and raw edge to it, sometimes reminding us too much about the side of society we don't want to acknowledge. This film touches on common threads of poverty and young parenting. Nestled in the midst of this is a romance that develops despite various obstacles.
