Some of it was kinda silly/dumb- but I thought it was kinda funny/cute; however, I AM biased in the analysis of this because all of those things could happen to me- being chinese after all; but I agreed with the theme- they present it in a theoretical way but it explicitly states a clear message: if you're a chinaman that was raised in the us n' a, then stick with the love that you find in the us n' a; don't fall for the millions of really hot chinese girls in china; I was also surprised that ken leung has an american accent b/c he had a chinese one in rush hour; this movie's also kinda cool because hayden panettiere = really hot; so is kelly hu; and finally- ken = a pretty awesome guy.
