Review of Sexy Beast (2001) by Daryl M — 24 Mar 2008
Someone described "Don Logan," Ben Kingsley's character in this movie, as the "anti-Gandhi." I've not seen an actor use his body in such a non-human manner since Toshiro Mifune in the Kurosawa samurai films.
But while Mifune moved like an animal, Kingsley moves like a weapon, a missile, a piece of flying steel. An amazing performance in a brilliant movie.
