If you have ever loved a horse, you will love this movie. Diane Lane was brilliant as Penny Chenery and made me proud to be a strong woman. John Malkovich was perfect as the trainer, Lucien Laurin, and brought a lot of comic relief.
Margo Martindale never fails to amaze me with her talent and she was perfect as Miss Ham. The star for me, however, was that beautiful horse. It brought me back to my childhood days spent with my beloved quarterhorse, Nacho.
