Review of Saints and Soldiers (2003) by Alex P — 15 Nov 2006

This film came as a complete surprise to me. I had never heard of it before hiring it from a dvd shop and it had my attention from the start to finish. It was tense, moving and well acted by its unknown stars.

There were some great discussion points arising from the film and I can safely say that it was the biggest surprise in terms of quality I have had when settling down to watch a film. This has become an instant favorite with me and I am doing my best to persuade almost everyone I know to watch it, there can be no greater compliment I can give.
