Review of Roman (2006) by Adam H — 06 Jan 2010
Surprisingly effective considering it has virtually no budget and is shot on digital video. Director Angela Bettis manages to create some beautiful shots by not letting the limitations of video scare here.
Lucky McKee gives a good performance in the title role but some of the others acting is lacking, to put it nicely. Makes a good companion piece to the Lucky McKee directed, Angela Bettis starring May, though May is a much better film (an overlooked gem if you ask me).
Check this out if you like psychological horror films and can tolorate some mediocre acting.
